KFC asks that the Colonel be on a stamp
KFC has asked the US Postal Service to put their founder, Colonel Sanders, on a postage stamp and they have asked the public to sign a petition.
Burger King going Hollywood?
Burger King is hoping to make a feature film. “Above the King” is a comedy about a teen misfit that lives in an apartment above a Burger King restaurant and has an unlikely friendship with an aristocrat. BK has budgeted $5 million for the film and hopes for a success similar to Napoleon Dynamite.
Wendy’s sells Baja Fresh
A few weeks ago Wendy’s spun-off their Canadian Tim Horton’s restaurant chain. On October 12th, 2006, they sold their Baja Fresh chain of 299 restaurants for $31 million to a West Coast restaurant group and retail operator.
