JUNE 2007 - International Expansion continues...
Month after month we continue to see growth trends in China. Many restaurant and fast food concepts continue to announce aggressive expansion plans in China, India, Middle East and other territories and follow through with better results. This month is not any different. The aggressive expansion continues. With those markets becoming quickly saturated with foreign brands...what happens to the local brands that use to dominate such markets? Some of them are now searching for "foreign" markets in where to invest. US comes to mind and now we will begin to see an aggressive expansion of foreign restaurant concepts in the US. Take Pollo Campero from Guatemala, or Jolibee from Philippines, down to Pollo Victorina from Dominican Republic, to now 3 different Colombian Concepts opening in Miami, New York and Houston...this is a trend that will continue to be on the rise. This just gets better and better...
C3 breaks into the movie business again
Creative Consumer Concepts, Inc (C3), US largest kids marketing agency signed an exclusive agreement with Alpamayo Entertainment, 3D animation movie in South America, to license the characters and figurines to the next 2 movies: Valentino and La Busqueda del Diente Magico. Both movies will be released throughout Central America. Earlier in 2006, C3 signed a similar agreement with Alpamayo to promote their last movie: Dragones Destino de Fuego.
